Controversies | • In 2011, Uddhav threatened Sanjay Nirupam, to break his teeth for Nirupam's statement on the North Indians in Mumbai. He said this after Nirupam had said in a rally that North Indians could bring Mumbai to a halt if they chose to. The court later granted them bail on a cash bond of Rs. 15,000. They later filed a revision; however, the court imposed a fine for Rs. 2000 after there was a delay of 84 days to file revision. In July 2024, they asked two more days to pay Rs. 2000 fine, giving the reason that the cash counter was closed.
