- His father supported his decision to play cricket as he often watched video tutorials and matches and read books to help correct his technique.
- His maternal uncle (Sridharan Sharath) was also a Tamil Nadu cricketer and scored over 8700 first-class runs at an average of 50 but never got selected for India. So, his mother was worried that a similar thing could happen to him as well.
- After making his Ranji Trophy debut on 11 October 2024 against Saurashtra, he scored 4 fifties in 6 innings.
- In January 2024, he helped Tamil Nadu win the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in Ahmedabad.
- K Vasudevadas, the chairman of the Tamil Nadu Senior Selection panel in 2024, was impressed with his performance at the under-19 level. Vasudevadas was then the junior selected head. So, he sent his name to the senior level.
