• Catalina Duque was born and grew up in Miami, Florida.

• Her parents are originally from Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia.

• During her university years at the EAFIT University, Colombia, she has served in various leadeship position in the campus, such as student representative on the Board of Directors and as director of Public Relations and Marketing.

• She has also participated in the UN Society group.

• Before entering her modeling career, Catalina worked in the external communication department at Cementos Argos in Colombia.

• In 2023, she began her formal beauty pageant journey, where she was declared Miss Antioquia in June 2023, for Miss Colombia 2023, to be held in November 2023. Although the contest was cancelled and postponed until 2024.

• On 10 November 2024, Catalina won Miss Colombia 2024, held in Cartagena. Miss Colombia is the oldest and most prestigious beauty pageant in Colombia. Previously, the Miss Colombia organizing committee held the right to send a representative to Miss Universe. After losing the Miss Universe rights, the winners of Miss Colombia were sent to Miss International.

• After winning Miss Colombia 2024, she became the seventh titleholder in the history of Miss Colombia from Antioquia.

• On 27 November 2025, Duque represented Colombia at Miss International 2025 in Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan. She won the title and became the fourth Colombian to win the title.

• Throughout her Miss International 2025 journey, Catalina supported education for girls and young women.

• During the final question answer round, she and the other finalists were asked the question,

“If you were to describe your entire Miss International experience to your family and loved ones, what would you tell them?”

• Catalina Duque’s winning answer was,

“My family is actually here with me today, so I’ll say it directly to them. I used to think that the big moments were the only ones that mattered, but learning about Japanese culture, I’ve learned about ‘Mono no aware,’ about the little things. Just how the leaves fall in autumn and they make things beautiful, how kids hug me and they smile at me, and how every yummy, tasty ramen I have reminds me to have a glorious life and to enjoy every single moment. I’m so thankful for being here, and I’m having so much fun.”

• Apart from modeling and a corporate career, Catalina is also a podcaster. She hosts a show titled The Golden Club, where she talks with inspiring and influential people. She uses the podcast to give a voice to those who are trying to make a positive change in the world.

• Duque has a strong advocacy for education. Throughout her Miss International 2025 journey, Catalina talked about supporting education for girls and young women.
