- Divyakriti Singh Rathore was part of the Indian equestrian team that won a gold medal in equestrian sport in the Asian Games in 41 years since 1982 (in the team event in 2023).
- Growing up at the Mundota Palace, a luxury heritage polo resort, in Rajasthan, she developed a love for horses.
- In 7th grade at the Mayo College Girls School in Ajmer, she took up horseriding as a sport and eventually developed a passion for the sport.
- During schooling, she started playing Polo as well.
- According to her, after she took up horse riding at school, it became her dream to represent India at the Asian Games.
- She became the equestrian captain of her school and represented her school at various inter-school Polo competitions.
- In 2018, she participated in the Junior National Equestrian Championship in New Delhi, India.
- In 2020, after completing her education, she decided to pursue Equestrian professionally.
- In April 2020, she moved to Denmark, where she bought her first horse and stayed for a year for training.

This is a huge honour and it’s an inspiration as well as a responsibility to remind me to do better.
