- She began her political journey after getting married to Pravin Arjun Pawar, whose father, Arjun Tulshiram Pawar, was a politician belonging to NCP.
- During her tenure as a member of Zilla Parishad in the Nashik district, Bharati focused on eradicating malnutrition and providing clean drinking water in the area.
- She was awarded the title of Best Women Parliamentarian by Lokmat Parliamentary Awards (2019).
