Controversies | Video on Indian Medical System In a video created by him named Indian Medical System Ki Asliyat, he allegedly defamed doctors by calling them, Killers. In response to the video, IMA sent him a legal notice of INR 50 crore. Subsequently, a defamation case was filed against him which, however, he won. [1]LAWLEX Apology to Sikh community In 2022, Bindra posted a YouTube video in which he showed an animated cartoon of Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh Guru following which many people ridiculed Bindra for showing the cartoon and alleged that Bindra distorted the historical facts related to the life of Guru Gobind Singh. A police case was filed against Bindra under IPC sections 295-A and 67-D. Maheshwari did not take the name of Vivek Bindra and his associated business' in the video; however, public alleged that the scammer was Vivek Bindra. On 14 December 2023, Yanika's brother, Vaibhav Kwatra, lodged an FIR against Bindra at the Sector 126 police station for assaulting Yanika at their flat in the Supernova West Residency in Noida's Sector 94. The FIR was lodged under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 323 (causing hurt), 504 (insult to provoke breach of peace), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), and 427 (mischief). - He had a troubled childhood. When he was 2.5 years old, his father died and his mother remarried and he was left all alone.
- He used to live at his uncle’s place while studying at St. Xavier’s School, Delhi. He funded his college studies by giving tuition and also sold dictionaries while doing his MBA from the Amity Business School, Noida.
- During his MBA, he was introduced to Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta through his mentors and spiritual teachers. Reportedly, after completing his MBA, he went to Vrindavana and started living as a monk, wearing a dhoti kurta and eating boiled food.
