- She won the crown of Miss Martinique on October 24, 2021, and then won against eight other participants in Fort-de-France, taking over the reign from Sephorah Azur.
- After securing the title of Miss Martinique, she participated in the Miss France 2022 pageant on December 11, 2021, at the Zénith de Caen in Normandy, where she made it to the Top 15, then the Top 5, and finally achieved the rank of 1st runner-up.
- When Diane Leyre, Miss France 2022, was unable to attend the global event, the Miss France committee designated Floriane Bascou as France’s delegate to the Miss Universe 2022 competition on October 11, 2022.
