Controversy | Charged by CBI in the Sheikh encounter killing In 2013, Gulab Chand Kataria's name was included in a supplementary chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation under section 120-B read with 364, 365, 368, 341, 342, 302 and 201 of IPC. He was accused of being part of the conspiracy to eliminate Sohrabuddin at the request of the marble lobby in Rajasthan; however, Kataria claimed that he was not involved in the case and it was just a political conspiracy against him.
