• Himanshu Bawandar is an Indian comedian, poet, and scriptwriter, who is best known for playing the character of Bhola Purush in the series Liv 2 Laugh.

• He grew up in a middle-class family in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

• Himanshu enjoyed acting in his college days, and he actively participated in theatre. In one of the plays titled ‘Garvi Gujarat,’ Himanshu played the lead role of Narsinh Mehta, the great Indian saint.

• He began his career with the home tuition providing firm Mishra Home Tutorials in Ujjain. There, he worked as a marketing head.

• After a while, he resigned from his job and joined LIC India Forever, Ujjain, as a life insurance agent.

• He is the founder of Gauri Tour and Travels, a travelling agency in Ujjain. The company was founded by him in 2016.

• In 2015, Himanshu participated in the reality TV comedy show ‘Comedy Superstar’ (aired on SONY SAB TV). The only candidate from Madhya Pradesh to get selected for the show, Himanshu made his place in the top 5 and then got eliminated from the show. His performance in the show was loved by the judges and the audience alike.

• Subsequently, he participated in DD Kisan’s reality TV comedy show Hasane Ka Mukhiya Kaun? (2017) and became the first runner-up of the show.

• In 2020, Himanshu took part in the Indian stand-up comedy show Sabse Funny Kaun?, which was featured on Flipkart.
