Controversy	Case registered for promoting Weapon culture: In December 2022, an FIR was regisrtered against Jasmeen Akhtar for promoting gun culture in one of her songs. The music video of the song was removed from YouTube, and an FIR was registered against the makers and singers of thje Punjabi Song Kaafla. A week later, during an interview, Jasmeen Akhtar said that she had a very small feature in the song and had sung the song two years prior to it's release and had no idea that the whole song was promoting gun culture. She also said that she did not take any credit or responsibility for the song as she had also refused to featured in the video of the song.
