Some Lesser Known Facts About Jesse Bisiwu

Jesse Bisiwu was born and raised in Belgium. He is of Ghanaian descent and is eligible to represent both Belgium and Ghana in international football.

In 2014, Jesse began his football journey in the youth academy of Oud-Heverlee Leuven, where he spent six years and developed skills before moving to a bigger club.

In 2022, at the age of 14, during th FIFA World Cup break, he was invited to train with Club Brigge’s first team and even played in a friendly match.

In 2023, Jesse Bisiwu made his professional debut for Club NXT in Belgium’s Challenger Pro League and became one of the youngest player to feature regularly in the competition.

In 2024, he made his debut for the Belgium Under-17 national team and scored his first international youth goal during the same year.

Because of his exceptional dribbling style, quick change of direction and close ball control, he was nick named, contortionist. His playing style was also compared with former Belgian winger Khalilou Fadiga.

In 2025, Jesse scored one of the most memorable goals of his younger career against Beveran. The goal received widespread praise in Belgium.
