• In childhood, Kavya’s parents used to take her on bike rides to travel all over India.

• Kavya always wanted to pursue teaching as a career option.

• Kavya was a very bright student in her school and college. She was the head girl in her school and secretary of dramatics in her college.

• She hated Geography as a subject in school because of the way it was taught. Later as she discovered the geography of India, she found it very interesting and decided to make videos that makes understanding Geography easy for others.

• In March 2015, she joined Petdom PaWish as a content writer and social media handler, she worked there for 3 months.

• In 2015, she volunteered as a teacher in an NGO named Udayan Care where she taught English and Social Science to orphan children.

• In March 2019, she joined Pratham Institute for Vocational Training, Mumbai as a research and development Intern where she conducted extensive research about Naka workers i.e. daily wage labourers in different parts of the country and worked with them for 2 months.
