- Lallianzuala was supported by his family when he wished to pursue football as his professional career as both his father and grandfather are football fans. His grandfather even gifted him with the first pair of football boots.
- Lallianzuala’s talent was discovered through a program called ‘Catch Them Young,’ which was led by the then coach of Mizoram, Muankima.
- In 2012, Lallianzuala represented Mizoram in the Subroto Cup, and later, Lunglei FC picked him for the Mizoram Premier League.
- In 2014, Lallianzuala was selected to play in the 2014-15 I-League U19 season by the DSK Shivajians’s Liverpool International Football Academy’s under-18 team; he ended the season with 16 goals.
- After Lallianzuala’s impressive performances at the Liverpool International Football Academy, he received a call from the India U19’s coach Lee Johnson to play for the AIFF in the 2015 Asia U18 Champions Trophy.
- On 25 December 2015, Lallianzuala debuted for India and became the 502/9 player to represent the national team. He came as a substitute in the 77th minute for Robin Singh.
