  • Mayuri Kango is a former Indian actress. She is known for her work in the film ‘Papa Kahte hai’ opposite Jugal Hansraj. In March 2019, she joined Google India as the Head of Industry.
  • She started participating in theatrical plays when she was a child. In an interview, she revealed that her mother used to act in theatrical production and she too used to join her mother in her plays, where eventually she got small roles to play which later, lead her to pursue a career in acting.
  • Kango made her Bollywood debut at the age of fifteen with the film ‘Naseem’ in which she appeared in a leading role. In an interview, she revealed that she didn’t have any plans to become an actress and had also passed an entrance exam for IIT. However, she later decided to accept the offer of the film and decided to step into the film industry.
  • After making her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Naseem’ (1995), she played the role of Sweety Anand in the film ‘Papa Kahte hai’ (1996) for which she received immense appreciation from the audience.
