- Nathan Ellis liked playing sports since childhood. His first sport was Tee-ball, which he didn’t like so he started playing cricket with his friends.
- He wasn’t very interested in his studies but liked participating in activities such as sports and dancing functions.
- He took private cricket coaching at Cricket NSW from September 2011 to February 2016.
- In May 2013, he ran a marathon ‘Relay For Life’ for charity.
- From September 2013 to September 2016, he worked as a part-time landscaper at the DC Mowing in Sutherland Shire.
- In 2017, he injured his ankle after which an operation was done to treat the injury.
- He met a lawyer named Connie Edwards who was working as a bar staff at Banstead Cricket Club in 2017. They later started dating and got married.
- He played for many local teams but had to move to Tasmania in 2017 to play domestic cricket where he worked many odd jobs to sustain himself.
- He worked as a marketing and sales assistant at The Real Learning Company from September 2017 to July 2019.
