Some Lesser Known Facts About Nayab Singh Saini

  • At the beginning of his career, Nayab Singh Saini worked as a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS).
  • While working with the RSS, he met and got inspired by the former CM of Haryana, M. L. Khattar. He continues to have a good relationship with him to this day.
  • Eventually, he joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and wrote various letters and documents for M. L. Khattar.
  • From 1996 to 2000, Nayab worked with the state general secretary in Haryana.
  • In 2022, his wife, Suman Saini, contested and lost in the Haryana Zila Parishad Election.
  • He has conducted workshops, seminars and conferences for social welfare. He has also organised several blood donation camps.
  • On 12 March 2024, he replaced ML Khattar as the new Chief Minister of Haryana after Khattar’s sudden resignation before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

  • After becoming the Chief Minister, the BJP, under Nayab’s leadership, was asked to give a floor test as their alliance with the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) was broken.
  • On 13 March 2024, Nayab Singh Saini’s Haryana government won the vote of confidence at the floor test.
