Controversy	Accused of Unprofessional Behaviour In 2020, Neha decided to leave the Hindi sitcom 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' after being a part of it for almost 12 years. In an interview, when she was asked about her reason for quitting, she revealed that the makers of the show owed her money and were not paying her fees. Neha had requested the producer of the sitcom, Asit Kumarr Modi, to settle her payments, but he kept delaying the process. This situation led to her decision to leave the show. She said, "I acted in Taarak Mehta as Anjali for 12 years before quitting in 2020. The last six months’ money is pending. After I quit the show, I called them a few times regarding my pending dues. I don’t like complaining… hopefully, there will be a solution soon and I will get my hard-earned money.” In a subsequent interview, an official from Asit Kumarr Modi's team responded to Neha's statements. According to the official, Asit was upset by Neha's remarks and claimed that she had actually left the show without informing them and had ceased responding to their attempts to contact her. The official stated that since Neha had not completed the necessary formalities for her departure, she was not eligible for a full and final settlement.
