• Niharika had a movable childhood as she relocated to various places in the North of India as her father worked for Uttar Pradesh Tourism, and after the division of Uttar Pradesh in 2000, he worked for Uttarakhand Tourism.

• At the tender age of 4, she gave her first stage performance as “Bharat Mata” or Mother India.

• She was always interested in acting and did theatre workshops with Sahitya Kala Parishad for 3 years.

• At the age of 17, she started modeling in Dehradun, and after she dropped out of college in Delhi, she moved to Mumbai in 2003.

• In 2005, at the age of 21, she was crowned with the title of Femina Miss India Earth.
