- She pursued her bachelor degreein Nursing from All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS)’s nursing college. During her academic years in AIIMS, she was known for her strong leadership qualities and active participation in co-curricular activities.
- After completing her post graduation in Nursing from Jiwaji University, Madhya Pradesh, she returned to Nepal
- After returning to Nepal, she joined B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan as a clinical nurse.
