While he was in college, he joined the Gujarati theatre in 1984 and worked there till 1992.

Paresh got a breakthrough role in 1999 in the Bollywood film ‘Mann,’ starring Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, and Sharmila Tagore.

His roles in ‘Baa Bahoo Aur Baby’ (2005-2010) as ‘Praveen Thakkar’ and ‘Chidiya Ghar’ (2011-2017) as ‘Ghotak Narayan’ gave him huge popularity.
