- Prahlad Singh Patel is an Indian politician who is politically affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Prahlad is an elected member of parliament from the Damoh constituency of Maharashtra. The five-time MP Prahlad Singh Patel took independent charge as the Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism in May 2019.
- Prahlad Singh Patel has been associated with the saffron party for over four decades. He started his political career as a student leader of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in the late 70s, grabbed the post of the Balaghat district president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in 1982, and gradually ascended the ranks to emerge as a significant leader of the BJP in Madhya Pradesh.
