• During his school days, Prashant Veer learned cricket skills from coach Galib Ansari at Bhimrao Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi.

• He was then picked for the Sports Hostel in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, where he completed his 9th-grade exams.

• Prashant Veer completed his intermediate schooling in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

• He then joined India’s U-19 team under the Veer School Federation.

• In 2017, Prashant Veer started cricket training at SBUA Academy in Saharanpur, where he became an all-rounder.

• When he was picked by CSK, he said in a media conversation that it was a dream-come-true moment for him, and he asked Rinku Singh to pinch him. He said,
  

  I was just hoping that someone would raise their paddle, it took me some time to process that I have gone to CSK for 14 crores. Sapna lag raha tha sab, I told Rinku (Singh) bhai ke pinch karo ek baar.

  He added that his family had never seen so much money before. I would change things for good. On being asked what he would do with the money, he then replied that it was his family’s responsibility, not his.
