• In 2011, he started working as a freelance writer. He wrote content for the non-profit organization Room to Read in New Delhi.

• During the same year, he began his journey as a theatre artist when he became involved with the Bahroop Arts Group, an amateur theatre group primarily composed of students from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi.
