  • Radhakant Ojha was born and raised into family from Ramaipur Dishini in Patti tehsil of Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
  • His family had strong connections with education, law, and politics. His father, Ramashankar Ojha worked as a college principal, while his elder brother Shivakant Ojha entered politics and his second brother Nishakant Ojha pursued a career in education.
  • In 1977, while he was in the University of Allahabad, Ojha came into contact with senior BJP leader and former Uttar Pradesh Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi. Tripathi was contesting the Assembly election from Phulpur at that time. Ojha’s father was the college principal and was also involved in managing Tripathi’s election campaign.
  • During his student years, Ojha became involved in social and organizational activities. He later became associated with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishand (ABVP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
  • In September 1987, Radhakant Ojha registered with the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh.
  • In 1988, he began practicing at the Allahabad High Court. During his early years as a lawyer, he again worked closely with Keshari Nath Tripathi. During that time, he travelled with Tripathi to Lalganj, Pratapgarh for the inauguration of a newly formed Bar Association.
