- He was trained in Kathakali the classical dance-drama of Kerala from veteran Kathakali dancer ‘M R Sreedharan Nair,’ his paternal uncle. He also got trained in Kalaripayattu (martial art form).

It was because of the distributors that I changed my name. If I were a known director in India, the problem would not have arisen. This is my first film and it is a British production.
