• In the early 2000s, Seema Singh founded the ‘MeghaShrey’ Non-Governmental Organization in Mumbai.

• Seema Singh started MeghaShrey on behalf of her children, Dr. Meghna Singh and Shrey Singh.

• The name of the NGO was derived from the names of Seema Singh’s children who also work in collaboration with their mother.

• The mission of Seema Singh’s organization is to provide a better and dignified life to the women, children and underprivileged sections of the society.

• Seema Singh’s social activist journey started when she funded her driver’s son’s education who later became a qualified and successful Chartered Accountant. This decision of her life inspired Seema Singh to do more in the social welfare field.

• Seema Singh, under her supervision, has conducted more than 20 programs and initiatives that have impacted more than 10,000 lives across India.

• In 2021, Seema Singh was listed on the ET Inspiring Women West India 2021 list for her contributions to social entrepreneurship.

• In the same year, Seema Singh launched the ‘Cervical Cancer Free India’ campaign under her NGO across the nation. The campaign aims to raise awareness about cervical cancer and its prevention while providing free screenings and early detection services to women in underserved communities.

• Seema’s campaign of ‘Cervical Cancer Free India’ has gotten huge support from various Bollywood celebrities including Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Bijlani, Himesh Reshammiya, and Siddhanth Kapoor.

• Seema Singh under her NGO has organised and successfully executed many social campaigns and some of them are Women Empowerment, Food Distribution Drives, Quality Education, and Livelihood Assistance.

• Every winter season, Seema Singh organizes a Blanket Donation Campaign, where she and her volunteers provide high-quality warm blankets along with dry rations to the underprivileged people living in the open areas of the streets.

• Seema provides free health check-ups to the elderly people in her society in Mumbai. Her daughter Meghna being a doctor attends to the elderly while Seema arranges for their food, medicines, and other basic necessities.

• In 2024, Seema Singh’s NGO in association with the Economic Times organized the ‘Inspiring Mothers Award 2024’ where she handed away the awards to all inspirational mothers from the society who have proved themselves in various sections of the society and also fulfilled their responsibility as a mother.

• In the same year, Seema Singh walked the ramp for a fashion show named ‘Indradhanush’ which displayed designs of Rohit Verma at the Bombay Times Fashion Week. The fashion show was presented in collaboration with Seema’s NGO ‘MeghaShrey.’
