• On 20 May 2023, after finishing her shooting schedule for a TV serial, she died in a road accident. She had opted to return home on a motorcycle which she booked through a bike-sharing app. When she was near the Ghosh Paraa area, a cyclist suddenly appeared in front of the motorcycle on which she was travelling. The biker lost control and Suchandra, who was wearing a helmet fell on the road. Within a few seconds, a truck run over her, and she died on the spot. ^[2]The Times of India
