- In August 2013, Tom made his debut for Worcestershire against Bangladesh A which was on tour to England.
- On 20 May 2016, Tom made the highest individual score for Worcestershire in a T20 match. He scored 127 runs from 54 balls against Durham in the NatWest t20 Blast.
- On 8 June 2017, Worcestershire released Tom as his contract was terminated by mutual agreement which he signed earlier with the club. He later joined Yorkshire in the same month.
- On 1 December 2021, Tom made 96 runs off just 39 balls against the Bangla Tigers in the Abu Dhabi T10 League; it was the highest individual score in T10 history.
