Vivian developed a love for football when he was 10 as his father was a footballer and his mother was an athlete, both for Indian Railways. He wanted to become a professional footballer and would have pursued that career if he had not become an actor.

Vivian attended a military school for two years, where he learned various sports including horse riding.

He studied well and even passed the Madhya Pradesh State-Level Engineering Entrance Exam. However, a call from the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest shifted his focus and sparked his interest in modelling.

Vivian started his career by participating in the 2007 Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest, where he was among the top 10 finalists.

Vivian’s first paycheck was between Rs. 2,500 and Rs. 3,000 for a ramp walk at a fashion show, and his first phone was a Nokia 3300.

He gained recognition through his role as a vampire named ‘Abhay Raichand’ in the television series ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’ (2010), which aired on STAR One (now Star Bharat). The series was inspired by the famous American series ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘Twilight.’

Vivian faced his first rejection at an audition where the selectors refused to let him in and asked him to leave right at the door after seeing his face.

His appearances as ‘Rishabh Kundra’ (2012-14), ‘Keval Ram Khushwaha’ (2013-14), and ‘Raja Khushwaha’ (2014) in the series ‘Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon’ were highly appreciated by the audience; the show aired on Colors TV.

Vivian married actor Vahbiz Dorabjee in 2013; however, the duo filed for divorce in 2017, reportedly due to Dorabjee’s possessiveness. Their divorce was finalised on 18 December 2021.

In 2015, Vivian appeared as a contestant in Colors TV’s dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8,’ where he secured 10th place. He initially rejected the offer to join the show because he was not confident in his dance skills.

Vivian once met a journalist named Nouran Aly in Egypt for an interview that she had requested. They soon became friends and fell in love. Although Aly was hesitant to date him at first, Vivian convinced her to give him a chance, and they secretly got married in 2022.
