It is no coincidence to us that the last video she made captures what she was grateful for—a testament to a life filled with both beauty and suffering. More than anything, she wanted to be a normal, healthy kid.”

Her parents shared a GoFundMe link to support her late uncle’s family and requested that followers donate instead of sending flowers.

They said Zuza Beine had fought acute myeloid leukaemia for 11 of her 14 years. They added that she lived a fuller and more grateful life than many people do. They wrote,
