Some Lesser Known Facts About Sitaram Panchal

Sitaram was a Bollywood actor, known for his roles in films like ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, ‘Jolly LLB 2’, ‘Bandit Queen’, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Peepli Live’ and ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh.’

In January 2014, he was diagnosed with ‘kidney and lung cancer.’ And after a 3 year long battle with cancer, he passed away on 10 August 2017, morning, at around 7:45 am, after a long battle with lung cancer.

In spite of receiving funds of around INR 5 lakh, Panchal underwent Ayurvedic treatment and didn’t switch over to allopathic medication. He even started a new homeopathic medicine, however, it didn’t prove beneficial for him.

On 9 August 2017, just a day before his death, he celebrated his 26th marriage anniversary.
