- He did his initial schooling from Delhi and was later enrolled in The Doon School, Dehradun (Boarding School), as his parents wanted him to do good in both sports and academics.
- He was a Junior Head Boy in his school in Delhi and a Head Boy in The Doon School, Dehradoon.
- During his years in The Doon School, Anant actively took part in sports like Field Hockey, Tennis, and Athletics.
