Some Lesser Known Facts About Prateik Babbar

• While Prateik was studying at Arya Vidya Mandir High School in Mumbai, he was a classmate of the Indian TV actor Karan Tacker. In class 11 and class 12, he was a classmate of the Indian actor Aditya Roy Kapur.

• After his mother’s demise (due to after-birth complications), his father Raj moved to Raj’s first wife’s house and Prateik was sent to his maternal grandparents’ house. Gradually, Prateik started believing that his father did not have time for him and problems started arising between Prateik and his father. He even dropped his surname ‘Babbar’ from his name. ^[8]The Times of India However, when he moved to his father’s house after his maternal grandmother’s demise, he started building good relations with his father.

• Since childhood, he was good at playing cricket. He was once selected for the under-16 Mumbai team.
