• Swaroop hails from a family of politicians.

• Swaroop’s father, Hassan Sanniah Prakash, was elected to the Karnataka legislative assembly four times on a ticket from Janata Dal (Secular) from the Hassan constituency.

• As per his family members, Swaroop was not present during the last rites of his father after he died in 2018.
