Turaz is an Indian poet, lyricist, dialogue writer, scriptwriter, and director whose body of work spans over 30 Bollywood films and has captivated audiences with his performances in numerous poetry shows. He has gained recognition for his incorporation of Urdu words in his lyrics and his writings on themes related to love and romance.
- Growing up in a household where Urdu was spoken, he studied the language within the confines of his own home. His passion for writing developed during his teenage years, and he held a fascination for the allure of the film industry. This led him to make the decision to relocate to Mumbai at the age of nineteen in 2002, with the intention of pursuing a career in the field of writing.
- Upon his relocation to Mumbai in 2002, he quickly secured a writing opportunity in 2003 for a television show. He went on to contribute his writing skills to numerous television shows including ‘Lady Inspector Renuka’ and ‘Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka.’
- He later established himself as a prolific songwriter, penning numerous memorable songs for various blockbuster films.
