- Manav started playing cricket at the age of 12. He joined the SK Bihani Cricket Academy run by the Sri Ganganagar District Cricket Association.
- During his initial days, Manav’s father wanted him to become a batsman, but he opted for spin bowling on the advice of his coach, who recognised his spin talent.
- At 17, while playing for India U19, Manav became the leading wicket-taker taker in the U19 series against Afghanistan; he took 10 wickets in 3 matches.
- Manav debuted in the Ranji Trophy in 2022 for Rajasthan.
- Manav served as the net bowler for the Gujarat Titans in 2022.
- Manav ended up as the highest wicket-taker for Rajasthan in the 2022/23 Ranji taking 39 wickets in six matches.
- In the Emerging Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka, Manav took 10 wickets in five matches and ended the campaign as the joint second-highest wicket-taker of the tournament. His best performance in the tournament came against Pakistan where he took 3 wickets for 36 runs in 10 overs.
