• On 18 June 2026, Ketan made headlines when he and his fiancée, Siya Goyal, went to Lohagad Fort to celebrate her birthday. Later that day, he fell into a deep, 300-to-400-foot gorge and died.

• During the initial investigations, the incident was treated as an accidental fall, as Siya stated that he slipped from a cliff edge when he was clicking pictures.

• Later, the police claimed that his fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her lover, Chetan Chaudhary, conspired to kill Ketan Agrawal.

• The police investigations found that it was a planned murder, and both of them confessed their crime after their arrest.

• The police stated that Ketan Agarwal and Siya Goyal engaged in in February 2026, and their marriage was scheduled in November 2026.

• Both the families were preparing for the wedding. They had reportedly booked a palace in Udaipur for the marriage function.

• After Ketan’s death, his family raised questioned on the accident theory narrated by Siya. His family claimed that Ketan was an experienced trekker.

• After that, the police re-examined the CCTV footage, phone records, location proofs, and digital evidence.

• The investigations revealed that Siya’s friend Chetan Chaudhary had already reached the fort before them. Siya and Chetan then pushed Ketan Agrawal into the valley.

• The police said that Siya forced Ketan multiple times to visit Lohagad Fort with her. It said,
  

  During inquiries with Ketan’s sister, Sanjana, and other family members, we came to know that Siya had repeatedly persuaded Agarwal to accompany her to Lohagad Fort on multiple occasions before the fatal incident.”

• She first took Ketan Agrawal to fort on 31 May 2026 and conducted a recce of the location.

• On 4 June 2026, she again made a plan to visit the fort, but the plan cancelled when Ketan’s mother did not allow him.

• On 14 June 2026, they visited the fort, where she allegedly tried to push him off a cliff. However, he managed to save himself. The police said,
  

  He managed to hold on to a bush. When Ketan wondered why he had been pushed, she raised a false alarm about a snake and tried to make it appear that she had protected him.”

• The police also revealed that Siya planned to kill Ketan before their trip to Bali for a pre-wedding photoshoot. However, the trip was cancelled after Ketan’s passport gone missing.

• During investigations, it was disclosed that Siya destroyed his passport at an airport washroom as she did not want the trip to happen.

• The CCTV footage from Lohagad Fort revealed that a man wearing a hoody in 33 degrees followed Ketan and Siya to the fort.

• His behaviour was suspected when he hid his face with the hoodie while wearing a headset.

• The police later revealed the man in hoodie was Chetan Chaudhary. They confirmed his identification through his social media pictures.

• On 18 June 2026, Chetan kept in phone in his shop and took the phone of his employee with him to avoid location tracking.

• The police then checked the call records between Siya and Chetan, which revealed that they called each other for more than 1000 times. The police said,
  

  We found thousands of calls exchanged between the two over an extended period, including several conversations lasting for hours.”

  The police then revealed that Siya and Chetan were lovers, and had planned to kill Ketan. The police said,

  The technical analysis established a close connection between the duo and pointed towards a well-thought-out conspiracy.”

• According to the police, the reason behind the incident was Siya’s relationship with Chetan. She was not willing to go ahead with her planned marriage to Ketan.

• During questioning, police officers asked Chetan why he and Siya did not leave together.

• Then, Chetan replied that Siya did not want to cancel her engagement and run away with him. He claimed that she believed doing so would bring shame and disrespect to her family.
