- Advaitesha Birla has been brought up by her parents in a rich family full of business tycoons.
- In 2021, Advaitesha Birla founded ‘Ujaas’ which is a non-profit organisation under the Aditya Birla Education Trust (Abet). Her foundation aims to bring sustainable change in menstrual health and hygiene management by bringing more awareness at the grassroots level.
- Advaitesha Birla was just 17 years old when she founded her non-profit organization ‘Ujaas.’
- Advaitesha’s foundation ‘Ujaas’ aims to break taboos and stigmas around the issue by not only reaching out to young girls but their families as well.
- Under her NGO, Advaitesha Birla conducts workshops where she teaches young girls on how to make sanitary napkins at home. She also conducts sanitary product distribution drives all around the country of India.
- During the initial days of her foundation, Advaitesha worked in the areas of Maharashtra, including Pune, Amravati, Washim, Yavatmal, and Gadchiroli and within the first 5 months, she was able to distribute more than 2 lakh sanitary napkins.
