• On 15 June 2024, BK Bopanna, the legal cell secretary of the Congress party in Karnataka, lodged an FIR against Bharti at the High Grounds police station in Bengaluru. The FIR was related to a video that Bharti had posted on social media in which Bharti claimed that Rahul Gandhi was planning to rebuild the Babri Masjid in place of the newly-opened Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
