• Arvid Anand Olof Lindblad was born in a sports-loving family in Virginia Water, Surrey, England.

• He has Indian roots through his mother’s family. His father is from a small village in Smaland, Sweden, and his mother’s family migrated to the UK after the Partition.

• His maternal grandparents worked as doctors in the UK, and his grandmother served as a GP until age 82.
