• She spent her early childhood in Lahore, Pakistan.

• She grew an interest in sports as a kid.

• During an interview, she mentioned that her family had a sporting background. Her parents were both athletes in their youth. Her sister was involved in track and field.

• Her grandfather served in the Pakistan Air Force.

• Her great-grandfather was a field hockey player for Pakistan. He was part of the team that won gold at the 1984 Summer Olympics.

• When she was young, she learned Karate for a bit but wasn’t very interested in martial arts then.

• She participated in swimming competitions during her school days.

• In an interview, she said she got more into sports after moving to Karachi. Sports weren’t encouraged much in Lahore at the time

• In 2016, she began practising Krav Maga, an Israeli self-defence martial art.

• She won a bronze medal in the flyweight category at the 2022 Asian Championships in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China.
