Following the orders of the chief minister, two committees were formed to investigate the case. The first committee investigated the allegations of trespassing against Rajender's family and the second committee investigated Devaryamjal temple land encroachments. Both the committees found Rajender guilty. Later, Etela Rajender refused any allegations against him and said that the whole case was being run by the chief minister in prder to defame him.
