- Guman Singh is a professinal Pro Kabaddi Player. He played as a raider for Jaipur Pink Panthers in PKL-7, Patna Pirates in PKL-8, and U Mumba in PKL-9 & 10. At the national level, he plays for Haryana.
- He grew up in Sherpur village, Pataudi Tehsil, Gurgaon District of Haryana.
- Guman displayed athletic abilities since childhood. He started his sports journey through Gully Cricket. Later, his paternal uncle recognized Guman’s impressive speed, flexibility, and agility and urged him to quit cricket for kabaddi. His uncle pointed out that a cricket career required a lot of financial investment, which was beyond the means of their humble family.
- Initially, when Guman began playing, there was no kabaddi ground in his village. Therefore, his uncle generously vacated a portion of his agricultural land to create a kabaddi ground for Guman’s practice. Over the course of three years, Guman received training from his uncle. Later, Guman and his kabaddi companion Manish joined an academy, where they competed in various tournaments.
- Guman faced a setback when he suffered a foot injury, leading to a decline in his performance. During this challenging period, Guman thought about quitting the sport and pursuing a job. However, his uncle called him back to the village and started training him again. Soon, Guman regained his skills.
- Guman Singh entered the Pro Kabaddi scene in 2019 when he played his first match for Jaipur Pink Panthers against Telugu Titans in the seventh season of the Pro Kabaddi League.
- He played for the Patna Pirates, who were the runners-up in the 2021–22 PKL season. Guman Singh was recognised as the Perfect Raider in a match during the season and was awarded Rs. 25,000.
On 25 February 2022, Dabang Delhi K.C. won the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 8 final against Patna Pirates with a close score of 37-36. Guman Singh contributed significantly by earning nine points in that match. Across 19 matches in Season 8, Singh collected a total of 97 points, along with four Super 10s.
- Guman made history becoming the highest-priced player in Category B during the 2022 Pro Kabaddi League Auction in Mumbai. U Mumba secured the raider for a remarkable sum of INR 1.21 crore for the 2022 PKL season.
