• Gungun was born and raised in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. She was fond of acting and dancing since childhood and she used to participate in various school dance competitions and dramas.

• Gungun Upadhyay became a part of newheadlines after she allegedly attempted suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of Hotel Lord’s Inn in the Ratanada area of Jodhpur on 29 January 2022. Reportedly, she returned from Udaipur to Jodhpur after doing a modelling project. Before jumping off the terrace, she dialed her father in a traumatic condition and asked him to look at her face when he sees her. Gungun’s father immediately called the police to inform them about the situation but it was too late to stop her from jumping. She suffered fracture in her legs and chest and also had huge blood loss. As per the media reports, she was under serious medical treatment.
