  • Inderpreet Kaur is the ex-wife of the well-known Punjabi comedian Bhagwant Mann, who, as the chief ministerial candidate of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), won the 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly elections.
  • When Mann ventured into politics in 2011 by joining the Peoples’ Party of Punjab (PPP), Inderpreet actively participated in PPP’s political rallies and accompanied Mann in its campaigns.
  • Later, Mann joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and contested from the Sangrur Lok Sabha constituency of Punjab during the 2014 Indian general elections.   • In March 2015, Inderpreet and Bhagwant made headlines when they filed an application for divorce under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, the decree of divorce by mutual consent, in a SAS Nagar court.

    Since then, Inderpreet, along with her children, lives in California, US, meanwhile Mann oscillates between Delhi and Mohali in India.
