• Jude Anthany Joseph, an Indian software engineer, actor, director, and writer, predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. He gained recognition for his work as a director for films like ‘Ohm Shanthi Oshaana’ (2014) and ‘2018: Everyone is a Hero’ (2023).

• During his time at L. B. S. College of Engineering in Kerala, Jude was in a relationship that ended when the girl left him. In an interview, he talked about this and disclosed that this experience led him to decide never to get married. He, however, later crossed paths with Diyana Ann James and fell in love with her. Joseph and Siyana were connected through a Facebook comment; Diyana once left a comment on one of Joseph’s Facebook posts related to the film ‘Ohm Shanthi Oshaana.’ ^[10]Onmanorama

• Joseph has worked as an actor as well. He appeared in many films such as Vijnanakoshy in the film ‘Velipadinte Pusthakam’ (2017), driver Shinoj in ‘Love Action Drama’ (2019) and Gireesh in ‘Voice of Sathyanathan’ (2023).

• Joseph holds a deep admiration for actor Mammootty. In 2014, he directed a short film titled ‘Nakshathrangalude Rajakumaran.’ The film was a biography of Mammootty.

• Joseph is a strong advocate for the ‘Karigar Apnao Sanskriti Bachao Abhiyan’ (Adopt an Artisan, Save our Culture) initiative, conducted by the Uthhan organization. In 2018, he made a financial contribution to fund the construction of a shelter for the homeless in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. • In an interview, Joseph talked about the making of the film ‘2018’ and his personal connection to it. He revealed that despite his own losses during the 2018 Kerala floods, including his home in Athani, he decided to create a short film at the request of an NGO named Bodhini. Joseph added that although he was in shock and distress, he made the short video, which later helped him battle his depression.
