  • Krishna Kumar Janu hails from Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, India.
  • He has served in many positions in his nearly four-decade political career, most of which he has spent working with the Sangh in different positions.
  • Krishna is part of a family with roots in Sardar Harlal Singh, a freedom fighter who served as the first president of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee after India gained independence.
  • In 1986, unlike most of his family members, Janu decided to follow the Sangh ideology.
  • After that, Janu served as a full-time ABVP member for approximately 10 years, during which he worked as Sangathan Mantri in the Shekhawati and Bikaner districts of Rajasthan. Later, he was appointed as State Secretary and also served on the National Executive Council of the ABVP for a four-year tenure.

I would like to thank the party for rewarding me with an expulsion for speaking the truth. If my party is going in the wrong direction, I will continue to question it. As I have experience in the media, I will again join them and put my points across. I will continue to bring out the inconsistencies within the party.”
