Controversies	• Arrested for obstructing In October 2023, Kulbir Singh Zira was arrest by the Punjab Police from his house in Ferozepur District of Punjab for obstructing government officials from doing their duties. Later, he was sent to to judicial custody by the local court for 14 days. According to the complaint filed by the block development panchayat officer, Singh along with his supporters did not let the officer and his staff to do their duties during a protest.
