- He is the eighth successor of the Nath sect of Hinduism.
- Mahant Balaknath’s father was a follower of the Mahant Khetanath and served him at the Baba Khetanath Ashram of Neemrana.
- Before Mahant Balaknath’s birth, his father promised Mahant Khetanath that his son would serve him all his life. After Mahant Balaknath’s birth, he was named Gurmukh by Mahanat Khetanath.
- At the age of six, Mahant Balaknath took sanyas and was handed over to Mahant Khetanath Ashram of Neemrana by his family, where he spent the next six months.
