• K. C. Venugopal, a member of the Indian National Congress party, is an Indian politician. He represented the state of Rajasthan as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha. Prior to this, he served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the Kerala Legislative Assembly and as a Member of Parliament in the Lower House (Lok Sabha). Throughout his political career, he has held various ministerial positions in both the Kerala state government and the Indian UPA government.

• His political journey began when he got involved in the Student Movement of the Indian National Congress. He held several positions within the Kerala Students Union (KSU), starting as a Unit President.
